The Roundup Ready Rate™ of a residual herbicide is tested and proven for use in the Roundup Ready® system. It is a specified rate that is designed to deliver optimum crop safety and early-season weed control, resulting in added flexibility for applying a post application of Roundup® agricultural herbicide in Roundup Ready crops. Furthermore, the Roundup Ready Rate helps farmers qualify for certain elements within Roundup Rewards® and provides a second mode of action which helps minimize the potential for weed resistance.

The Volunteer Roundup Ready Corn 2 Cost-Share Allowance allows farmers to receive up to $3.90 per acre toward Select Max® to control Volunteer Roundup Ready Corn 2 in Roundup Ready soybeans.

Resistance Management – Using a Roundup Ready Rate of residual herbicide helps minimize the risk of potential weed resistance by controlling early-season weed flushes and providing a second mode of action.
